1. Keyboard Design

- The minimum size of the cut rectangular holes - 2 mm.

- Minimum distance between cut openings, as well as between holes andthe keyboard edge - 1.5 mm.

- Minimum radius of cutting corners - 1 mm.

- The optimal keys size - 10-14 mm.

- The minimum distance between keys - 3 mm (between the edges of the molding).

- The minimum distance from the key (edge forming) to the edge of the KB or to the edge of through windows - 5 mm.

- Loop output can not be placed under the keys (for keyboards on a flexible printed circuit board).

- The permissible bending radius of the loop when entering contacts in the connector must be not less than 5 mm.

1.2. Forming of keys and signal LEDs

- Shape of keys can be any: round, square, triangular, irregular shape etc..

- Radius corner keys - at least 1 mm.

- Types of film forming at the locations of the keys:

1.4. Fasteners (holes)

- The minimum distance between the fastening element and key edge - 5 mm.

2. Print restrictions

2.1. Application image

- Minimum width of the free lines - 0.3 mm.

- The minimum line width for overlapping colors - 0.5 mm. Recommended - 0.8 mm.

- The minimum width of the gaps between lines, letters, signs - 0.3 mm.

- The minimum font size - 2 mm.

- Minimum thickness of the keys stroke - 0.6 mm. Recommended - 0.8 mm.

2.2. The accuracy of color reproduction (catalogs RAL, Pantone)

The accuracy of primary color selection depends on several factors. Despite the fact that the color can be specified in the catalog, there are a number of objective reasons affecting the accuracy of the matching:

- RAL and Pantone catalogs are printed offset, by offset inks on offset paper.

- Keyboard consisting paints deposited on the back side of the film can affect the color;

- Keyboard constisting paints often overlap each other (i.e. are not lying on the white background).
